Ceramics​

After leaving the Central School of Art,  where I learned about all aspects of ceramic production, including glaze chemistry,  I worked in a very small studio whenever able, selling my work through Liberty's and Heals and various galleries around the UK.

I supplemented my living through teaching, firstly in schools, but later in Adult Education.  I loved passing on the skills I had learned to my students and observed their progress and involvement with great satisfaction. 

 

Since moving into printmaking, I decided to record some of my clay works in print as shown here.  This was an interesting project for me and I am working on further images which hark back to my ceramic years as I miss them and still love 3D forms.
